I first photographed L's boys when they were exactly that - four boys. Then I had the pleasure of photographing little Miss C - the girl that came along to shake things up in Boyland. Finally, this time around, I got to capture everyone - and it was GREAT. 

L - I loved seeing you and the kids again, and C - it was super to finally meet you. Thanks guys, for everything.

I've know both A & C for years and years - but had not had the opportunity to meet their boys. And I even got to see C's sister, L, for a moment, and I hadn't seen her since High School. 

A's family is similar to mine with all the boys - so I felt right at home. And what a great location - on the river. God's Country.

A, it was great to see you and meet the family. I'm glad we got together. And I'll be seeing you soon to work out the kinks in my battered old runner's body!

Favourites {chicago photographer}

There is something about photographing a favourite family a second time - I look forward to the session, enjoy the entire time I'm with them, then the editing process is all the more special because I feel an extra connection to the subjects in my photographs.

J - it was so wonderful to see you and the family again, and as always I find it amazing that the tiny little newborn I photographed a MINUTE ago is now a big boy running around under his own power. Ah, time is a thief.

Let me begin by saying that this was such a fun session for me - baby O was terrific, and his parents were wonderful also. You know a session is great when in the middle of it you are served a lovely homemade lunch :-)

We covered a lot of ground for a little guy - from the house to the yard, to the wooded area down the road and then back home again. But O was a trooper and kept up with me the whole way.

It's been a while since I've managed to update the blog, and it's a pleasure to do it with this session.
