Chicago Baby Photographer | 18 Months? Are you sure :-)?

This sweet little one is almost the same age as my youngest, so I knew what I was in for... (namely, a lot of running :-) and {whew}, three hours later, sure enough, I was all out of monkey noises! 

And her language - boy is she advanced! She could say anything! If she hadn't looked like an 18 month old, I wouldn't have believed it!

But the time flew by, and we got what we came for...some absolutely beautiful images of sweet Baby J. Who by the way, can come back and play with my Lucas ANY time. 

You should have seen this little one talk - I swear, she will be talking in full sentences any time now. Amazing.

Anyway, thank you to one of my favourite clients, M for referring C and little J to me, and thank you, C, for making my day fun.

Sweet Music. | Chicago Photographer

I love doing my Best of Both Sessions. I get to play in the studio. I get to go outside. I get to CREATE! And when working with someone artistic like A, I really get to express myself, because she GETS it. 

To celebrate her graduation with a degree in musical performance, A, and her father Z decided to come to me. Z happens to own the rusty old truck that you may have seen on here once or twice, so of course we had to use it.

We shot for about four hours, and we are all tired and hot by the end....especially A who gamely bundled into outfit after outfit.

But it was worth it, trust me!

Sweet Repeats | Baby Photographer in Chicago

They say that the third time is a charm, and I sure hope it's true! This is the third time I've had the opportunity to photograph a member of the fabu J clan, and the first time with little Miss C. As you can tell by all the clothing and prop changes, she was a trooper about the whole thing. In fact, I don't recall her fussing even once.

My kind of baby :0).

I had a wonderful time with her mom, K, and I hope to see you all again soon!

G and her fabu kiddos were referred to me by a wonderful past client (thank you R!!!), and when they showed for their session I knew it was going to be fun.

Little sis was completely adored by big brother, and it was the sweetest thing to see. 

Little L was a ham for the camera, and her bro J was up for fun...he couldn't believe I actually had a tire swing in the studio!

I love Wes & Willy clothes...heck, I have three boys! 

Of course I love their stuff! 

So when I landed the gig to photograph their 2009/2010 clothing lines, all I wanted to know was....do I get to KEEP all the clothes :-)??????

I had so much fun with Spring/Summer 2009 I can't wait for the fall collection.

An Old Fashioned Beauty | Baby Photography in Chicago

When this little beauty showed up at the door, I was so excited. I mean, just look at the hair! And that skin! How could you go wrong photographing a baby like this? She reminded me of a silver screen star from days gone by.

And her parents T & K were super fun to work with and game for anything.

Pottery Barn Kids | Oakbrook Child Photography

I had the pleasure recently of doing a set of minisessions at the Pottery Barn Kids store in Oakbrook. Not only did I have lovely surroundings to work in, but the children were GORGEOUS!

Old Friends Are The Best. | Chicago Child Photography

I have been friends now with J for a long time. Longer than I care to admit here on the blog :-). We were in the same residence at McGill University, and played many many games of gin rummy on nights when we should probably been studying. Or, I should say, when "I" should have been studying, as J was a much more accomplished scholar than I. Or should I say me? See, I told you I should have been studying!

Anyway, when J was in town recently with her family and wanted to come to the studio for a session, I was overjoyed, as I hadn't seen her in a very long time.

I had the pleasure of meeting her beautiful children, her wonderful husband, and even her brother, sister in law and sweet little curly haired nephew.

And would you believe it, 3 kids and too many years later, she still looks the SAME. 

J, I m so very very glad you came to see me, and I hope to see you again soon.

A Bevy of Beauties. | Chicago Child Photographer

We all know I photograph a TON of boys, so when I get two gorgeous girls like this into the studio, we bust out the girlie stuff and have some fun!

M and her lovely girls came armed with loads of clothes and some of the coolest Uggs I have seen. Metallic silver...just my style. As soon as they left I was online shopping, but alas, no luck. 

These ladies were lots of fun and game for just about anything I suggested, even when they clearly thought I was nuts :-)

My Favourite Model

Ok, so I have lots of favourites, but this guy really rocked my world - handsome, fun and sweet to boot. I am really enjoying the modeling agency work, it's lots of fun to photograph kids who know how to work it!!!

 And of course, C's mom, T was awesome and game for any of my suggestions. Gotta love that!
